Welcome! Grace Preparatory School, a Christian University-Model School® exists to assist parents in educating their children in a way that is both academically excellent and honoring to God, preparing students for higher academics as well as for a life of serving Christ whole-heartedly.

Grace Preparatory School is a non-denominational Christian University-Model School®. GPS Ministries is incorporated in the state of Virginia as a non-profit ministry.

Upcoming Events

The following meetings are scheduled at the school for interested parents and families. Please RSVP to the school office (your name, child’s name and current grade plus the date you plan to attend) to let us know you'll be coming. Please note that both parents must attend an information meeting, and enrolling students are encouraged to attend also.

Are you the parent of a traditional public or private school student? GPS is an affordable, high quality, college-preparatory alternative that gives you more time for staying in touch with your kids and guiding the formation of their character through their most critical years of physical, intellectual, social, and spiritual development.

Are you a home schooling parent? GPS is philosophically compatible with your deepest heart values, uniquely adaptable to your family’s situation, a resource as your children grow into the secondary grades, and a harbor from burnout. GPS courses can even be supplemental to your primary curriculum if that serves you best.

Grace Prep - A University Model School

Grace Prep is not a home school cooperative and not a traditional school choice. It combines the best of both into something brand new. It is a University-Model School®!

Classes for grades 7 through 12 meet on Monday/Wednesday/Friday. Our elementary classes (K-6) meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Independent or directed study is done on at home on alternate days of the week.

Qualified Christian teachers are employed to teach academic subjects. Parents partner with teachers to help their children complete assignments at home on alternate days. Records and transcripts are issued by the school. High School diplomas will be issued for students who complete all diploma requirements.
